A Letter from the Athletic Director

Welcome to Swigert Middle School Titan Athletics 

Dear Parents, Guardians, and Students,

Welcome to another exciting season of Swigert Middle School Titan Athletics! On behalf of our coaches, staff, and school community, I am proud to welcome you to our athletic programs. As Titans, we strive to compete with strength, character, and pride—both on and off the field.

Middle school athletics play an important role in student development. At Swigert, our athletic programs are an extension of the classroom, teaching teamwork, discipline, perseverance, and leadership. Our goal is to provide a safe, positive, and competitive environment where every student-athlete can grow and succeed.

The Titan Standard

To ensure a positive experience for all, we ask our students, families, and spectators to support the following expectations:

Good Sportsmanship
Titans show respect at all times—toward teammates, opponents, coaches, officials, and fans. We compete hard while demonstrating class and dignity, win or lose.

Integrity and Character
Being a Titan means doing the right thing even when no one is watching. We value honesty, accountability, and respect in all aspects of athletics and school life.

Respect for Rules and Authority
Rules exist to ensure fair play and safety. Student-athletes are expected to follow team, school, and league rules at all times.

Allow Coaches to Coach
Our coaches are dedicated educators who work hard to develop both athletic skills and character. We ask families to trust their leadership and support their decisions.

Allow Officials to Officiate
Officials play a critical role in competition. While mistakes may happen, Titans respond with respect and sportsmanship at all times.

A United Titan Community

Titan athletics are strongest when students, parents, coaches, and staff work together. Your positive support, encouragement, and modeling of respectful behavior help create an environment where student-athletes can thrive.
